Moussa El-Zaarah

M.El-Zaarah received his masters degree with focus in statistical physics & nonlinear dynamics in June 2018 in Berlin at Humboldt-University. M. El-Zaarah is a former member of the respective academic staff and his thesis focused on certain aspects of the harmonic oscillator excited to alpha-stable noise (a broad familly of noise distributions including the Gaussian case as a limit). Therefore he sees himself as an expert in the fields of statistics, stochastic processes and mathematics in general.

Ever since he finished his Master of Science he got increasingly attracted to topics, problems and challenges that data scientists and experts on Big-Data have to face. Therefore he included Python, pSQL and R into his repertoire while learning bioinformatics and biostatistics in Berlin (continued education after M.Sc.).
At the time he is starting an internship at Healthtwist GmbH under supervision of CEO Dr.A. Busjahn an expert in applied R-programming in the realm of Health Sciences.

Zacharias has authored three books, several scientific articles, as well as a number of videos on Data Science, A.I., and Cyber Security topics (published on the Safari educational platform). He has also reviewed a number of data science books (mainly on Python and R) and had developed a number of new metrics, heuristics and functions for data analytics. Apart from data science, he also has a passion for new technologies (e.g. IoT and Cyber Security), as well as literature, music, and videos.

Derry Holding

Derry Holding is an Independent Researcher and Freelancer IT Engineer, founder of Holding Engineering Consultancy, based out of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. After a few false turns and mind-numbing projects, Derry decided to redirect himself into more Software Development and Testing projects with emphasis on Python, and in particular the area of Data Science/Machine Learning. Coming from a mathematical background (BSc in Mathematics from the University of Manchester, MSc in Satellite Navigation from the University of Nottingham) this meant Derry was able to find greater enjoyment through continuous learning, especially where Data Science and Machine Learning with Python is concerned.

Marta Fajlhauer

I am a data driven person that would like to live in a perfect “data for good” world. That’s why I am founder and president of “Diversity in Data” society. I like to work on projects that will bring some help. As an example of that, I worked on a project in educational data mining or EBOV project using machine learning with time series data. Full-time student of statistics, part time data analyst consultant becoming a data science writer. It’s so many things to discover in data world that I still don’t know what is my main interest but for now machine learning, data mining. What will be next? Let see. I love Alice and as such, I would like to add: “Have I gone mad? I’m afraid so, but let me tell you something, the best people usually are”.
